Located in San Jose, California, our R&D Center explores new product concepts, strategic directions, and business opportunities for Casio. In our work, we merge Casio's expertise in consumer electronics with Silicon Valley's emphasis on computers and the Internet. We think this makes for a winning combination.

CASIO's tradition of innovation dates back to 1957, when we introduced one of the first electronic calculators to the general market. Since then, Casio was the first to introduce handheld PCs and digital cameras to the consumers. Most recently, Casio has just brought to market the world's first wristwatch with built-in global positioning system.
